Talk of the Town in Washington

I ordered Tuscan Soup and wasn't satisfied with the bitter taste. I asked to exchange for a different soup of the day and was denied. I feel that if I'm a loyal customer and do business with you more than 5 times out of the month the least you could is an exchange if I'm a paying customer that wasn't satisfied. The customer is sometimes right. You learn from experience and feedback of the customer on your food. Just bad business once the Jockey Club took over the business.

Incredibly slow service

Made a 200-mile round trip to see this place and wasn't disappointed. Great sandwiches, a gracious host, and a charming old building in a quaint old town. Stop and visit!

Pimento cheese, yes!

My first visit was pretty good!My food was cooked correctly 👍👍But I was craving a burger and I thought hey let's do talk of the town their burger was pretty damn good the first time... Well I ordered 2 burger specials well done had a beer while we waited for about 30 mins,Only to get home and bite into a medium well burger it was still mooing!. and they were closed at this point I was very upset considering the fact we waited about 30mins the waitress also came to us during the wait and said since you wanted it well done it's going to take a little longer to cook and we were fine with that but​to get it and it still wasn't cooked no where near all the way was very upsetting.And there were only one other couple in there eating when we ordered so I'm sure they weren't that busy..if it hadn't been so late I would've took it back for a refund but we just wrapped them in foil and finished cooking them in the air fryer!!

Great sandwich for a decent price for lunch. Looked at the evening menu and they have a selection for every taste.

Walked in and was immediately welcomed in and to sit where I liked. The atmosphere was outstanding with antiques and other goodies from surrounding stores around the square and other small businesses. We ordered an Arnold Ziffle, Kitchen Sink, and a hotdawg. Our meal was received within 10 minutes. It was more than enough food and was delicious. We had to take part if the hotdawg and half a sandwich with us. The food was definitely worth stopping in this small town for and will be stopping everytime we come through.

The service was ok. Frankly, my Grilled Chicken Sandwich tasted just like McDonald's. It would have been nice if the sides had been larger.
